PBC - Securing Our Future Initiative - Quarterly Workshop (Jan 18, 2024)
Join us for an exciting in-person event, the PBC - Securing Our Future Initiativ (SOFI) - Quarterly Workshop. This event is a chance for current enrollees to give feedback on their participation in SOFI and to inform prospective enrollees about SOFI and how it works.
Additionally, workshops are an opportunity to gain access to resources that can lead to financial sustainability. At this meeting, there will be presentations from United Way VITA on their free tax filing services and from the Office of Equal Business Opportunity on starting your own business.
Food and childcare will be provided at this meeting. Please register only 1 person per household.
SECURING OUR FUTURE is an initiative in partnership with Birth 22 United for Brighter Futures and the Citizens Advisory Committee on Health & Human Services (CAC/HHS) that seeks to create pathways for economic mobility for families with children ages 0-18 who are living below 200% of the federal poverty level (FPL) with a special emphasis on families that are 100% or below FPL and have the ability to work.
Starting at 6:00 PM, the workshop will take place at the Carolyn Sims Community Center at 225 NW 12th Avenue, Boynton Beach, Florida 33435. Get ready to connect with like-minded individuals, share ideas, and explore opportunities to make a positive impact on your life.
